Now then, the red route at Dalby Forest 38km of pure cross country….You can start this with the blue from the visitor center at Dalby which starts with a climb (so make sure you have warmed up a bit first) once you have done this challenging climb and your lungs,heart, leg and head is working in tandem then it’s time for the the red routes technical descent (a bit dodgy when wet as i found out last week).

We took the opportunity of this at a bike ride at Glentress forest to raise funds for LIVESTRONG DAY which is on 2nd October. October 2nd 1996 was the day that Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer and began the fight of his life.

Glentress for the day a 400 mile round trip was it worth it. You bet it was.
We loaded the van at Accrington at 7.30 am and off we went looking forward to a sober ride round Glentress. I mention sober only because the last we did this we weren’t in any fit state to ride. Anyway I digress, San Gee and Breakers in one car Hartie and I in the van.
